Athletic apparel with a purpose!

This first article is to introduce 3rd Team Sports to the world. To explain what 3rd Team Sports is and what we aim to do. 3rd Team Sports is not just another T-shirt, hat or pair of shorts… it is a concept. This concept involves those athletes who have been waiting for their time to shine…well, their wait is finally over. 3rd Team Sports will shed light on their struggle to be recognized.
3rd Team Sports is about those athletes who have not been given a fair chance to succeed, for that matter not just athletes but anyone who has been denied a chance. 3rd Team Sports represents those athletes who have been told they are not good enough, not fast enough, or not big enough to play. Often these athletes are very good players but because of circumstances out of their control they are being overlooked. These athletes have dedicated themselves to the sport they love to play, without notice.
Most of us at some point in our lives have probably wanted to be part of a team. Whether the team was a neighborhood team, little league team, or high school team, we wanted to be a part of it. Many of us have run into a wall, a wall named “Opinion”. This is where someone’s opinion of you gets in the way of you playing. They let what they have heard about you influence their decision on not picking you, playing you, or giving you a shot at success. This sort of thing happens quite often without anyone saying a word about it, until now. We will shed light on this situation and others like it.
3rd Team Sports represents the long shots. The people no one believes in. We want these people to know that there is a TEAM that understands their pain and anguish. We want to encourage each and every one of you not to give up. You must be determined to work hard to accomplish your goals. This will not be easy but we will be there to lighten the load. We all will face tough times and adversity on the field or in the game of life but the true athlete will always find a way to win. Remember, whether on the field or in the game of life, the winner is not decided at the beginning of the race, it is decided at the end.
With this said… 3rd Team is just the beginning…
